Reference
List
Before you
begin interviewing, you will need to prepare a letter listing your
references. A reference list should include three to five individuals
who have agreed to give a telephone or written referral to your
prospective employers. The individuals listed should be either coworkers
from previous jobs or close business associates. References from
previous employment should include both supervisors and peers.
When
compiling your reference list, be sure to include the following
information about the references:

Before you
submit your list of references, make sure that you receive your
contacts' permission to disclose their names and telephone numbers.
Employers will request this information.
