As of this posting,
34 states and Puerto Rico had licensing laws for radiographers in
effect. Although the laws and regulations vary widely from state to
state, all states that require licenses will accept the examination
in Radiography of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
(ARRT) to obtain a license to practice.
